Latest News Details of HUDDERSFIELD SCOOTER CLUB end of season party have been finalised. It is our 22nd Anniversary Do on Saturday 25th November 2006. The fun starts 8pm until 2pm with Bar open until 1am. It's at the IRISH CENTRE on Fitzwilliam Street, same venue as previous years and just 5 minutes walk from the Train Station. Large wooden dance floor, cheap beer, 300 capacity limit. Live music from THE CIRCLES and Top Rally Scooter DJ's playing a wide range of scootering tunes, quality raffle. Tickets are now on sale from any Huddersfield Scoter Club member at only £5 each. The event does sell out and when the capacity is reached we cannot let in any more so get your ticket early to avoid missing out.

13-April-2006 This Bank Holiday weekend takes Huddersfield Scooter Club over to Morecambe. Those going over Friday will be in the RANCH BAR in the afternoon then moving on to UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS later to have a drink or three with Narna who will be setting up some Karaoke tunes. Saturday is an early start with our very own CHUCKLE BROTHERS making a special guest appearance. The "DOUBLE D DUO" of Duesy & Denton will be playing all your ska/ punk scooterist tunes in the RANCH BAR from 12noon until they get kicked off (around ten past then!!) For live music on Saturday you can see SKA-BOOM live at THE CARLTON in the evening. Anyone that are staying for a 3rd night can enjoy KING KURT live, again at THE CARLTON. For those that don't know it is also CRAIGS 40th Birthday this weekend so I'm sure he'll let you buy him a pint or 40!!! Safe journey to everyone that's making the trip over.

7-April-2006 Sunday 9th April is the first Yorkshire Alliance rideout of 2006 hosted by YORK INSET scooter club. We will be meeting up from 9:30am at McDonalds on Leeds Road. Departing at 10am for a ride over to Knaresborough. Clubs are meeting from 12noon at Knaresborough for a 1pm departure to York.

28-March-2006 Its the start of the season rally this weekend with GINGERS EASTER EGG RUN. Those going over Friday - have a great night - those who are going over on SATURDAY morning 1st April remember its a 12noon PROMPT start and they dont wait til 5past ! as we found out about 4 years ago when we pulled in the car park at 11:59am, prompty spun round and leaded the mass rideout away - cheers to Wilky and Snelly for getting us there eventually with Snelly's 1964 AA map and a tour of Salford market... anyway the plans are to meet up at The Bay Horse at 9am (no Fozzy, not for a pint!) but for a 9:30am departure along those nice A-roads over to LOWTON. The plan for the Huddersfield Motorway SC is to don your racing leathers and set off about 11:45am...... Don't forget your Egg - Sacky - usual trick of stopping off at all the petrol stations and newagents on route trying to buy one on the day yeah?

Couple of problems - counter not working on front page and serious lack of some code to display photos - i do have something i'm trialing and hope to have a bucket full of photos on here by the end of the month. I'll also add info on the best supporting club member (Luke Bram) trophy, HSC lookalikes page (Bobby Ball!), hobbies (Who really spends their spare time cooking and shopping)
